Skip a stone
Do you remember the first time you successfully skipped a stone? It is one of my favorite memories of my father! All you need is a lake or pond (smooth water is best); several small to palm sized flat stones; patience; and encouragement. The trick for me was to stand at an angle, extend my throwing arm, flip the wrist trying to send the stone just above the water, as flat as I could. How many times can you skip a stone?
